This is an example of the baskets I have begun making using willow and maple bark as the main structural supports and dandelion stems and crocosmia leaves as twining.

Small basket woven using willow and maple bark stripped in spring of 2024 as the structural supports and twined with dandelion stems and crocosmia leaves foraged in fall 2023 and spring 2024.
Size: approximately 5-6” tall and 4” wide
Pine Needle Basket 4
This is a basket created using the coiling technique and constructed with long-need pine needles, waxed synthetic thread, and a ceramic disc I created for the base using Oregon Red clay and a Himalayan Cedar cone to create the texture.
